Hey everyone!! I hope you are doing well! I've been doing my best to stay focused, organized and creative during this pandemic. One of many projects that I have gotten into is gardening. On Mother's Day this year, me and my mama started a garden from seeds. I put together this video that shows you how we started it in an indoor mini greenhouse, transferred them to cups then put them in the ground.

We started off with soooooooooooooooooooooooo many different fruits, veggies and herbs:

  • Kale
  • Lettuce
  • Peppers
  • Zucchini
  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Watermelon
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • Rosemary
  • Lavender
  • Sage
  • Dill
  • Cilantro
  • Parsley
  • and Sunflowers

Lots of things did not make it but some are flourishing!! Every day is a learning process. This is our garden so far. No fruit has been produced yet but we are discovering lessons along the way. The depth and height of the soil, how they need to be spaced out and how they may sometimes go into shock when they are replanted.

It has been a great way to get in tune with nature, spend time with each other and outside and to learn as we go. Follow instagram.com/damnnearvegan for more updates.
