When I started learning more about love languages, I realized that my top two were physical touch and words of affirmation.  As a single woman, I often would feel deprived of both and thought I could only receive fulfilment from romantic partners.  

As I got deeper into my healing journey and learned about self-love, I realized that I hadn't even been providing myself with the love I wished to receive.  I also discovered some triggers in relation to my love languages. 

In childhood and in a past relationship, I had experienced verbal and physical abuse which is why positive words and touch is so important to me. It's also why I would cringe when certain people I was not yet comfortable with would express their love to me in that way.  

After doing some shadow work and inner child healing, I was able to identify my issues and give myself permission to love and be loved in a healthy way...starting with the love I give myself.  I feel so much gratitude to be able to share with you the tips and tools to help you on your journey to self-love and self-discovery.  I look forward to walking this path with you.
